How to resolve the cancellation of a YouTube Premium family account through gamsgo

Have you signed up for a YouTube Premium family account but suddenly stopped using the premium benefits?

Recently, gamsgo has become aware of this issue and sent a related email.

In this article, we will provide detailed instructions on how to resolve the cancellation of a YouTube Premium family account through gamsgo.

1~3 are general issues. If you have recently suddenly experienced problems with your account, please check item 4.

1. Check the family group settings

If you have joined a family group but cannot use the premium benefits, check the family group settings first.

Click on your profile picture in the YouTube app and go to ‘Manage Subscriptions’.

Here, check if the ‘Premium Status’ is linked to a family account.

If it is linked but you cannot use the premium benefits, wait about 3 hours.

The premium benefits may not have been activated due to a temporary delay.

2. Try to rejoin the family group

If you joined the family group but still cannot use the premium benefits, try leaving the family group and joining again.

Check the family group invitation link provided by gamsgo again and try to rejoin.

You can also withdraw from the existing family group and then join by receiving an invitation again.

3. Check the country settings

When joining the family group, check if the countries set in the payment profiles of the family group manager and other family members in Google Pay are the same.

If the countries do not match, you may not be able to use the premium benefits.

4. Contact the customer service center

If the problem is not solved with the above methods, contact the gamsgo customer service center.

The customer service center can request the creation of a new YouTube account and add members to another family group.

When contacting, please tell us exactly when the problem occurred so that we can resolve it faster.

If it suddenly occurred like now, it is recommended to report the problem directly on the gamsgo subscription page.

To report the problem, go to gamsgo site and then access the subscription page.

And after checking the red-marked part of the YouTube account, click the [Report as not YouTube Premium] button.

The usage period of the account for which the problem has been reported will be suspended, and we are taking measures to prevent the usage period from being deducted until the problem is resolved.

If the account is restored, I think gamsgo will give an additional period.

Note

  • You need a Google account to join a family group, and you cannot join with a Google account provided by work, school, or another organization.
  • You can only join a family group once every 12 months, so consider carefully before joining.
  • After joining a family group, you cannot join another family group for 12 months.
